El Conquistador Resort, nestled in Las Croabas, Fajardo, Puerto Rico, is more than just a destination—it's a dynamic resort where business and leisure blend effortlessly.
Our redesign emphasizes capturing the essence of El Conquistador resort, presenting it in a versatile manner. The brand harmoniously combines the Caribbean atmosphere with luxury and an inviting, approachable vibe.
Logo redesign
The new logo design shifts from a rectangular, horizontal form to a squarer, more versatile shape. Despite the advantages of a square logo, we also provided a horizontal version for smaller, horizontal applications and for versatility in product printing.

color palette
The color palette was inspired by the breathtaking scenery at El Conquistador. A diverse selection of secondary colors provides unique identities for all the resort's sub-brands.

previous maps
The previous maps, which utilized photography and illustration, realistically depicted the property but posed a problem.
The issue is that this realistic approach does not effectively present the property or inform visitors about the amenities. Overlapping information and text boxes make it distracting and difficult to accurately see and navigate the resort.
map redesign
A monochrome palette, with buildings standing out in a darker color, creates contrast and directs focus on the buildings and amenities, which are the most essential parts of a map.
Topography lines highlight the property's altitude differences, and a simple legend helps filter through amenities clearly and easily.
Apart from the comprehensive view of the resort, we also included zoomed-in snapshots of different areas. This allows users to navigate more easily, see the resort's offerings in greater detail, and better position themselves within the resort.
